At the age of 39 I had my heart attack. The night before, I went to the hospital because my arm and back were hurting. I was told that I pulled a muscle. The next morning, I woke up with a major heart attack. They say that I’m lucky I made it to the hospital. I spent almost 2 weeks in a coma. I think I made it due to having one of the best doctors in Michigan (at least he is to me). It’s a long road to go but everyday I’m thankful to be here. I have seen my first grandchild, Zayne Michael, born and have strived to get healthier. I have learned that you need to live in the moment because you never know if it will be your last.
