Jodie M.

July 4th, 2009, my husband hit his head on the bottom of a pool (required 40 stitches and 11 staples and broke his neck in 2 places). He is a very lucky man and, as of today, is just fine. While we were in the emergency room I started having a pain to the left of my sternum and my back was on fire. After a heart cath it was determined I had no blockages and that my heart attack was caused from the stress of my husband’s accident. I do believe that aspirin can save lives. Unfortunately for me, I have asthma and aspirin causes me to have a severe asthma attack. I am able to take Plavix everyday which gives me some comfort. I am now on a Beta Blocker for an extra heart beat and I take cholesterol medicine, Omega 3 and Vitamin D3. I am learning to handle my stress better in many different ways including exercise.
